INTRODUCTION

The RICHCODE Chapter Schools Program is an initiative designed to encourage educational enrichment, skill development, and community engagement within schools. Chapter schools are student-run clubs, and are an extension of RICHCODE. This document explains the programs goals, activities, and benefits for schools and their respective students.

ABOUT RICHCODE

RICHCODE is a student-run nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding accessibility for computer science and STEM education. Founded in 2021, RICHCODE has served over two hundred students globally. Our vision is to create a world where learning STEM is accessible to all, regardless of age or background. Currently, we are actively working on website development, lesson planning, and preparation for upcoming events to further our impact and reach more groups in need.

WHY BECOME A CHAPTER?

RICHCODE inspires students to play an active role in service activities that align with their interests, making a meaningful impact on their communities. Being a RICHCODE Chapter School provides the platform to introduce organized and meaningful learning and service within your school and local community. RICHCODE is a President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) Certifying Organization, and we award and recognize our volunteers’ dedication to community service.

As a RICHCODE Chapter School, students also have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, meet new people, and discover new interests. In addition, RICHCODE Chapter Schools have access to STEM lessons and resources created by the RICHCODE team.
